For I have always loved the game
You have brought me so many things
You have brought me my pain
For it hasn’t been a short fling
15 years of heart
You have always felt like a fresh start
The green jersey has brought me many memories
And pain in all my extremities
But now it is time for a change
Something bright and shiny, something new
I will take off my cleats for the last time
I don’t know what to do
The future is unknown
But the end can’t be postponed
