Freedom


A green little life 

In a giant’s home

Looking at the sky 

Who is crying 


The hard shell

Wants freedom

But a wall hard

Like a rock blocking

The way


Sitting down 

Lonely and alone

Waiting for help

Will the green buddy

Be rescued?

I have a pet turtle that I got about 2 years ago so I wanted to write about her or something similar to her story. Sometimes she looks out the tank at me like she misses her friends and family.
