Hello and Goodbye
Once I had a bestfriend so dear
Whose love was filled with warm embrace.
We laughed, we talked, we shared our fears,
Our bond was pure, our hearts in place.
Together we climbed these mountains high,
And walked the valleys low.
We shared a love that not even time can buy,
A bond that just seemed to grow.
But our roads took a different turn,
And our paths had to part.
I never knew how much I'd yearn,
For your precious soul and heart.
Now you became a memory,
A part of my beautiful past.
But the impact you had on my life,
Will painfully forever last.
So though we've gone our separate ways,
And our paths may never cross again.
I'll always cherish those beautiful days,
And love you till the bitter end
This poem is to you, my old friend,
Wherever you may be.
Thank you for the memories,
And the man you made me be.
It breaks my heart to say goodbye,
But I know it's time to let go.
and open my hearts to other's soul
For its time for a new hello
