If Nature Could Talk 

I am inhabited by over 7.8 Billion people

Yes that’s billion with a b

Yet I am still taken advantage of

Treated like I'm lucky they exist when really it should be the other way around

I mean I have done nothing but provide EVERYTHING for them

Yet they still kill me every day

So what do I have to do to get their attention? 

Because after all I am only Earth

I shine bright at night

I am here for you when you really need that one wish

I occupy you at night when you just want to be alone

Because what else am I supposed to do 

When I am the stars

I am there for you in the night sky

But I change every single night

Occasionally I align with the sun but

More people know me responsible for the waves

The beach waves that bring people together, create memories, and laughter

But that's all the moons for I guess. 

I find ways to be there for you when you need me

If you need to be calm you can listen to me

But sometimes I wont lie I go a bit to far and get too loud

Can you really be mad at me though?

Because nobody’s perfect not even the rain

You see me most every day

I’m responsible for that beautiful green park

With tons of flowers blooming

And I’m the reason your earth even exists

Or when you walk outside everythings not frozen over

And you can see because of my light

I guess you're welcome because that's my job as the sun
