Songs in Poem
The war had begun.
The air,
filled with ashes.
The sky,
Dark as night.
As the time ticks by,
I feel more and more like a prisoner,
Not only to my duty,
But to my own mind.
Still feeling the guilt,
Of leaving my mother
To fight this bloody war,
But I need to do my time,
I need to protect those in need,
I need to protect them from those who hurt,
The renegades.
I still cant help to think it's not enough,
And we will all become prisoners.

This Poem is based on of a song written by the popular band, Greta Van Fleet. The song is, The Barbarians. This song as a war feeling to it and as a sad meaning. My hope is to connect to the song.
