Birthdays
Every year on our birthday
It is a huge deal
But I think we all secretly dread it
Because all that it reveals
Is that another year is gone
For us to live a full life
As we get closer and closer to the end
And slowly run out of time
We wish we could go back
And stop this rapid decline
It goes faster than any of us would like to admit
There is so little time
To live a life
So divine

this is about the idea that for a lot of people birthdays can be kind of a sad thing instead of the celebration they are meant to be
