Plain and Tiring
The view outside of my window
is plain and tiring.
No more loud, chirping birds,
and no more soft spring leaves.
The glistening snow
is soft and cold.
But it is no longer appealing
as the soggy, almost dead, leaves
are far too much.
Still I look out of my window
and hope to see smiling spring;
but white winter is already here,
and too much to leave.
