Last night I dreamt that Kanye West just released his new moccasins. Almost 20,000 pairs hit the market this Friday and Ella and I will be getting pairs. After sitting down for a bite to eat, we quickly scarf down the waffles and hop in line. 

Ella and I both know that we will be standing here for hours, “but the drip is worth it” she whispers in my ear. When I get bored I always practice Spanish in my head. “Me nombre es Will” I say to myself. My head starts spinning. She calms me down by reading Dr. Seuss. I get distracted by the 1991 Micheal Jordan Championship poster hanging on the wall, and her words turn faint. We start to reach the front of the line, and I can see pairs being distributed. If Bigfoot wasn’t standing in front of me, I would be able to see him.

The front of the line finally comes, the first words that come out of my mouth are “So good to see you!” he responds with even kinder and more thoughtful words. I notice that he has a great white shark pinned to his coat jacket. With thank yous and your welcomes in order, we soon walk away with new shoes. “We Won!” I exclaim. Ella is a bit less enthusiastic, but it's easy to cheer her up. Soon I can picture myself with them on, traveling to Breckenridge, and even all the way up Lake Huron in Nipigon. Soon I can picture myself as a Real Estate Agent. 

The smells of mothers lavender and warm coffee wake me from slumber.
