Last night I dreamt of wild thoughts

I crept through a hidden forest deep in the amazon

The soles of my hokas soaking and starting to seep through my socks

149,000 fireflies disappeared as the vibrant sparkling orange sunset arose to my left

A booming storm was later to arrive, only to be another wrong prediction by the forecasters

Chilled waves of creamy milk crashed along the shore as they whispered of tales about the loch ness monster, and scary green squids, all long lost stories parents used to tell

Jack sprinted over to me, “como estás?”, he splashed me with water as we continued to explore,  “Knock it off!” I giggled, completely soaked

I liked Jack, he told me stuff id never known, the tales of Harriet Tubman, that JK Rowling is actually a girl, and he even showed me who Ariana grande was

We continue to run wild through the forest but it is just our imagination

The amazon becomes my swampy backyard from the previous days of rain

“This is so fun!” I exclaim while laying in the soaked grass

“I think I wanna marry you” Jack says, laying down beside me

“I hate you.” I kid, as I get revenge for the water he splashed me with

Once our toes are completely numb from soaked shoes we run inside to warm morning pancakes that always fill my tummy with warmth
