Is normally a competition
Between naive lovers
As they twirl telephone wires
And drift into singularity
But when it comes to us, dear
It’s the truth
And it's killing me.
I fight for your time
And I always lose.
My opponent lays down her gloves
Maybe that’s the worst part.
I wish I could hate you
Maybe I do
But even then
I still love you more.
