Blue Jays
A small blue jay
Can fly up high,
Carry all of its weight and soar
To be one with the sky,
To let go of that wire,
And finally breathe
A breath of fresh air
Sometimes I wish
I was that blue jay,
So I could fly,
Breathe that air,
And finally let go
But I’ll never be
That blue jay
Because I know
I can’t let go.
