Londinium
A seven hour plane ride across the North Atlantic Ocean
Brings you to
A city of endless variety
Where cultures blend and traditions marry.
From the outside, a melting pot of diverse cultures
But once inside,
To me, Londinium is a home away from home.
A city that reminds me of New York City
Soho, Westminster,
Swarming with people.
From a bird’s eye
Hyde Park
A space for me to think and gather my thoughts,
A haven of green amidst the concrete and steel
A peaceful respite from Londiniums’ neverending pace.
Tate Modern
The vast array of art almost overwhelms me
But opens a wide range of artistic lenses,
Waiting by Lucio Fontana
Strikes my eye every time -
A window to the world’s creativity.
The Londinium sky, a canvas of gray hues,
paints a gloomy and overcast ambiance
Why can’t it just be sunny?
But Londinium never sleeps.
Through rain or shine, it carries on.
