Tears streamed down
my empty flesh
down into the abyss
of nothingness.
Why is pain
so excruciating?
Why can't I disappear?
But I guess
everybody wishes that.
We're all empty shells
craving for something more
that never reaches.
Our grasp is cut off by disappointment
and disappointment is cut off
by souls.
