nowhere's night lights

A quiet town in the middle of nowhere,
the hum of the fluorescent lights,
the monotonist blues play,
a not so far off fountain burbles,
and a traffic light flickers.
A yellow flashing beacon in the night,
blinks in its never ending fight,
Every blink slower,
or maybe naught,
a hypnotizing light,
clicks in and out through the night.
