Does the sun follow the moon
Or does the moon follow the sun?
To them the moon is invisible
Hidden, cowering in the sun’s path
Why can’t the moon be like the sun?
The sun, a ray of light, blazing a path
A path: so fresh, so new, so alluring
That none other can compare
Why is the moon so lazy?
Why can’t it carve its own path?
The moon: dull, wrinkled, a pitiful thing
Its light is so slight, so drab
It's boring, it’s old
Why can’t the moon shine brighter?
Why is it so disappointing?
Noone knows the moon
Wishes to be the sun
Wishes to be the great
The power, the role model
The moon is the sun’s other half
But moon is only second-best
At best.
