Saudade = 1. a feeling of longing, melancholy, or nostalgia
2. A yearning for happiness that has passed, or perhaps never existed
Scents from old and everlasting memories
Still linger in the autumn breeze
My mind crawls its way
To the shadows of the past
This season makes me thrive
With the good comes the bad
Saudade is my dearest friend
Much I marveled to escape alive
Now is my time to transcend
