simple, adj.
simple, adj.
Longing to live in a place where no one goes, where no one knows. Fewer things than most, but having more than the stars in the sky. Where the pine table with markings and dents is from the forest, and the water in the jar is from the stream. Where the bed is a single, and a candle for light. A sketch pad and a good book on the stump used as a nightstand. A good horse and an old dog waiting at dawn to bring in cattle. Drinking coffee on a front porch, watching the sunrise. Where life is so extraordinary that it is just so simple.

Simple. This may seem like a complex life to some, but it is extraordinary to those that listen.
