Helpless Obsession
Her obsession grows stronger with every waking night,
She draws them, writes about them, and her thoughts wander,
Until her dreams fade away like a corpse,
sinking into the muddy earth it calls home.
Until her eyes look distant and gray when I call out her name.
Who is more helpless, her or me?
Who is more helpless,
The one in a trance or the one uselessly watching.
Oh please
Save her from this illness,
Save her from this beast known as obsession
