I have a dream
I have a dream
I wonder, I wonder, back to those years, enjoy my childhood.
Sun rose up, I saw a long shadow on the ground. It was dad and me.
Went up to the hill, we sat in the wiggle car. The car raced down the hill.
we shouted:“Can the shadow catch the car?” I can hear the wind whistle.
Like a salmon swimming into the sea, with sound and speed.
Then, I wake up and wondered what life was like in the past.
I don’t want to cry, but tear runs down my face.
Maybe shadow can’t catch the cart, but time can.
Maybe I can’t go back to the past, but salmon can.
From ocean to the river, back to their home town, back to their birthplace.
We chase through the corridors of time. I found you at the end of time.
We stopped and looked each other in the eye…
So wired, so wired.
I was always sad when I looked back.
But, I always laughed in my memory.
Maybe that is life’s mystery.
I want, I want,
Keep the memory now and forever.

I am a secondary school student studying abroad in a city in Canada where is far away from my home country. My childhood was happy since I was accompanied by my father. I miss the old days when I was a child. How I wish I could go back to the past to find him, my father, who was a young man at that time. However, time cannot go back. I hope my dream can help me to relive the good time of childhood.
