Afternoon Walk
Afternoon Walk:
One cool afternoon
I put my shoes on and head outside with my hood on
Hands in my pocket, with music playing in my ears
I notice the sound of the leaves high above me when the wind blows
I hear dogs barking in the distance the more I walk
I hear cars the closer I get to the main road
As i walk by some houses I can smell flowers
I see squirrels running around climbing up and down trees
Birds flying by
Continuing my walk the weather has gotten cooler the later it got
I can hear different birds chirping
See different birds flying by or hanging out in the trees
As i start to walk back towards my house I smell food close by
I begin to walk faster and faster
I can feel the wind off my sweatshirt as Im walker
Finally I'm home

Decided to take a walk and write a poem what I saw, heard, smell all during a afternoon walk.
