Winter Nostalgia
I remember
Snow falling
A cold winter night
The old house
All cozy in my jammies
Wrapping presents upstairs
Christmas music
So familiar
Mariah Karey, Frank Sinatra
Watching snow
Spill down off the house
Picking out each bow
To perfectly suit each gift
Writing out little tags
With crooked handwriting
My brother getting irritated
With uneven folds of the wrapping paper
Will there be a snowday tomorrow?
Life was so simple back then
Wrapping presents at the old house

I love winter and looking back on valued memories from my childhood.
