Puzzle Pieces
He’s not perfect
But then again, neither am I.
It’s what we are
Imperfect pieces with jagged edges and complicated patterns
An ever-changing picture you can never quite see
Two people, so beaten by the world
And their own minds
So imperfect.
Yet, so perfect together
Because somehow,
I have a dent to fit every one of his jagged edges
And every curve my pieces have, fit so perfectly into his
We fit together in a way only we can see
We have ridges only we can feel
All we know is each other
And all I can see is the soul I love through his eyes
