I try so hard
To take my feelings
And turn them into poetry
But each stanza
Of what I think is emotion
Just feels like a run on sentence
My thoughts are not beautiful
They don’t rhyme
They’re ugly; they clash
No letters can be put together
To make what I experience
Into something pretty
