Our Symphony
I want to continue our symphony
I want to hear it everytime I see you
I want it to whisper sweet melodies in my ears as I lay for the night
I want it to awake me in the moring with joy for a new day
I want to hear it ring through the halls
But I know the song I hear is not the one that you know at all
I wanted to continue our symphony
But you are the conductor
And have finally cut me off
I want to continue to play our song
The chairs are empty and the stands are gone
The world has gone quiet
And I am alone.

I like to write random poems in my free time. I wrote this poem shortly after a breakup. My teacher looked at this poem and said it stuck out to him and other teens might be able to relate to it. :)
