The family of bears that had brown hairs

always decorated for Halloween.

Mamma bear loved to be scary

she loved to be spooky and frightening, the season made her so, so, so, merry!

Papa bear knew that Mamma loved Halloween.

He listened to her babble and giggle about how she was so keen,

keen to the sweet and sour candy, bright yellow leaves, cozy sweaters, and blue cheese!

 Papa knew Mamma loved blue cheese; he always gave it to her even if she forgot to say please.

Baby bear knew Mamma had two reason she loved fall,

One, she loved blue cheese, and two, she loved Halloween the greatest of all.

Each year Mamma played a prank on Papa, now Baby bear was old enough to join the fun.

He knew a way to make Papa scream and run!

Halloween rolled around and Mama was excited.

She had so many ideas to scare Papa she cackled, so delighted!

Later that night when Baby bear whispered his plan in Mama’s ear,

she knew Papa was in for a frightening fear.

October 31st came with fast ease

Mama planned out the entire day with a joy no one could displease.

Baby and Mamma giggled with delight as sun began to set and the prank began,

Baby gave Mama a big toothy slaphappy grin.

Papa came home and had no clue

about what was about to happen, to scare him out of the blue.

“We need to eat supper before we trick or treat!” Mama made sure to say.

Papa agreed and they all sat down to pray.

“Happy Halloween!” Mama said with delight!

She gave Baby bear a sneaky look; Papa was about to have a fright!

Mama asked Papa to cut into the blue cheese, Papa said, “Of course dear!”

He took the butter knife started to cut neat and near.

Then suddenly the lights winked out,

“Must be those dang neighbors!” Papa exclaimed with a shout,

“Don’t worry I’ll fix it!” He rose from the chair and walked to the light switch.

He flicked it on and off a few times, suddenly the light blinked on, before him stood a witch!

“AHH!” he screamed before him stood an ugly witch and a ghostly ghost.

“Boo!” shouted the witch and the ghost but that wasn’t what scared Papa the most.

The prank frightened Papa good, but what scared the true bejebees out of him,

was the teetering blue cheese that was hanging on the side of the table by a whim.

“OH NO!” shouted Papa bear, as the blue cheese came crashing down.

It shattered along the floor, blue cheese splattered all over Mama’s gown.

Mama looked at the blue cheese, her perfect Halloween ruined!

She made a face that looked like she had pain from an open wound.

“Haha!” Papa laughed with delight,

he laughed himself horse until he bent over, so impolite!

“I got you this year!” he giggled, as he pulled out TWO fresh plates of blue cheese.

Mama gave a sigh of relief, “You sure did.” Then she snatched the plates without a please.
