Illusion

They say this world is an illusion
that even the most wise believe in
and I admit I'm one of those
but unlike them
my desires are fleeting
and at the call of your voice
or the beckon of your smile
they make their way back to you
and I remember once again
the illusion of this world
and who my desire belongs to:
the one truth it holds
