from anger like a torrid hog,
the smoke that stands and sways
dons a long silk dress beneath the fog
of choral cabaret,
and in the day, she pulls remarks
out beneath her chin,
and in the day she finds the spark
glitter, flush with sin,
and in the field she finds the blooms
gold and set to die,
and in the field she pulls her glooms
better far than i.
