The World is a Dark Valley
The world is a dark valley.
It is hard to see the light when greed and hate keep blocking the bulb.
How I crave to see the light illuminating the once gloomy valley.
The light would overpower the darkness, and make the world bright.
However, I’ve begun to lose hope that light is coming.
When I view one spark of light, it is put out.
And after the quick spark, no light is in the valley.
I can only see a darkened valley full of despair and hatred.
Maybe sparks are needed first to turn on the lights.
When a car sends sparks, it means the engine could work again.
Maybe with these tiny sparks, the world could work together again.
As I sit in the dingy valley, I can’t help but think about the possible sparks.
Spark that could briefly illuminate the valley into all of its glory.
Even if a spark changes the dark world for just a moment,
It still made a change.
