Skeletons
The skeletons in my closet
Are never lonely
I keep them company
Snug between
Hanging cardigans
And folded up jeans
And my friends
Try to tell me
That closets
Are for clothes
But
I have
to be here
With my skeletons
And the light that seeps
Through the cracks
Between the doors
Is like honey
Golden
And sweet
And maybe
If I could
Push open the doors
I would
Soak it in
And be golden too
