Just us
And so we lay here
Within centimeters from each others bodies
I can feel the warmth of his skin, yet
we aren't quite touching
The connection between our hearts
is so strong it hurts
In a good way though.
We sit in silence
Just staring into eachothers eyes
He tends to loose focus often to
stare at my lips but quickly regains
it when i notice
He uses his fingers to outline the
details of my face
His physical touch provides more
comfort than i've ever encountered
No words are spoken
However the silence goes unnoticed
And so it's just the two of us
I like it this way
Just him and i
Just us.

This is a poem written to explain how it looks or feels to be so incredibly in love and comfortable with someone that you can sit in silence and enjoy every minute of it
