Crybaby
My dear enemies. Everyday shrouded in red,
Drenched in gore and blood.
Over the jugular vein lies a deep cut.
I was positive it hurt.
In fact, I made sure the only thing they could feel was pain.
When my eyes gaze upon the sight,
My body erupts with laughter.
I long for the looks of others, filled with despair.
Tears from all flowed like a river filled with heartache.
On them, I cut and shoot, taking out my anger.
Gliding from one victim to another.
Leaving pools of depression everywhere I set foot.
Waiting silently for the rain of revenge.
When it pours onto my skin, It will be brutal.

This piece was an assignment for my creative writing class. I chose to do something on the suspense and thriller side because that's what interests me. I love the feeling of adrenaline flowing through your veins and the words keeping you on the edge of your seat, wanting more.
