Man in the mirror on the wall
Man in the mirror on the wall
Do you have a number I could call?
2 halves of one whole. That’s who we are.
We stand so close but feel so far.
You on one hand say he’s fine.
But he only rides his own decline.
Next up forever.
Out of fear.
He says whatever.
But so sincere.
Who is who?
That’s up to you
Are you me?
Or am I you?
Are we the same?
Are we to blame?
For the sadness in his brain?
Beyond the looks
Beyond the fame
Beyond the feeling when they hear his name...
The man in the mirror is often quiet when I’m not talking...
Like we are waiting for the answer to his problem to be the same...
But in the end, the feeling that’s forever stalking...
Takes one of us hostage for its sick game...
The love that’s been lost between us 2 has been forever growing
But the one emotion in the one man with 2 parts is forever showing
The one emotion we can both show is the one we don’t conceal
So man in the mirror on the wall...
help me make his fake smile a smile that is real.
