Charlie Hustle
Flopping headfirst into the bases
Running as fast as he can,
Even though he was a betting man
Charlie Hustle was the best of the best,
Always betting on his team
And giving it his all,
He was always there to hit the ball.
Everywhere he went people kneeled
Winning gold gloves and playing all over the field,
Gambling to win every night
He never gave up his fight.
Loving the team he played for and
Leading them into battle,
Fans came to the ballpark like cattle.
Getting 4,256 base hits,
Charlie Hustle was filled with grit.
One of the best players of all time
He always wanted another dime.
People will forever cheer his name
Even though he is denied by the Hall of Fame.

Bio- Pete Rose was born on April 14, 1941 and is still alive today. He was a Professional baseball player in the 70s and 80s. He holds many records throughout the MLB like most base hits in a career, most career times on base, and most career winning games played. Towards the end of his career he became a player-manager. During his time as a player-manager the MLB found out he was betting money for his team to win while playing and coaching which is against MLB rules. In 1989 Pete Rose was banned from baseball and has been banned ever since.
