Little bag of wasted time
I hold it to my chest
Ugly, old and never gone
It will not go to rest.
Feeble jar of long-gone time
It sits within my shelf
The glass that covers what’s inside
Can never hide myself.
Chest of faded dreams and sounds
It will not be let free
I wonder if what is inside
Will still inspire me
