Looking back
at the love we had.
Love seems like a petty blessing.
Teaching me lessons
day by day.
My heart breaks watching you be okay.
I put myself into you,
now its time for me to realize, it was never true.
Self love is healing me,
Im becoming the person I need to be.
Hope your smile it brighter,
because I can no longer be your fighter.
I fought for our love to last,
But now your a thought in the past.
