love #1
it was good while it lasted,
like brightness then nothing.
my eyes, tracing the shape of your hand
until you run away without saying goodbye.
but i guess it's my fault because i was too scared to try.
adopting your fears as my own,
letting you unknowingly control my disposition
until we reach the point of boredom.
because i wish you leaned on me like when we met
but you want what i’m too afraid to do.
you’ll never know i wanted it too.
i learned nothing from you,
only from what you didn’t do.
