MIracles
“Why, who makes much of a miracle?
As to me I know nothing else but miracles.
Whether I walk the streets of [Detroit]”,
Or watch the stars streak across the night sky,
Or wade in the waters of Lake Michigan,
Or wander through a quaint neighborhood,
Or relax at a friend’s house,
Or eat at a new restaurant,
“To me every hour of light and dark is a miracle,
Every cubic inch of space is a miracle”.
