Astronomy means
Study of the universe
All beyond the Earth.

But it is much more
Than just the physics of it,
It’s our history.

It is our future,
A time machine, showing us
All that existed.

We can never hope
To see our vast universe,
Which is packed with all.

Not just planets, stars
But also invisible
Things, we cannot see.

It is vast, in both
Time and space, which our human
Minds cannot fathom.

Try as we might, the
Vastness of the universe
Will always elude.

All of the problems
That we face as humans — war,
Politics, hunger.

Do not matter in
the vast universe that we
Live in but can’t see.

All of the problems
That we face alone, school, jobs
Family problems.

Do not matter in
The vast universe that will
Move on without us.
