A Yellow Feeling

In the grass,

As you run your feet through the earth,

Passing by the sunflowers hugging up,

Right beside your toes.

When the sun is out,

And it glimpses down, throughout the town,

Supring shades of light,

Throughout the civilization's life.

In the absence of your sorrows,

A smile appears,

Your teeth widened, by the feeling of

Happiness.

The lemon waiting to be eaten,

As it explodes a sour taste,

Sour in the mouth and sour in the heart,

As the color yellow represents life as well.

Because the color brings more than feelings.

It brings the bitterness of uncertainty,

To be unwilling to take the next step,

As you're held back, and stuck in your worries.

But the color is within us all.

It comes out in the moments of pure joy,

When your heart is genuinely happy,

And you just can't shake,

the feeling of smiling.

The author's comments:

This Poem describes how the color yellow feels. The sunshine smiles that yellow has to offer, and the bitter nervousness that yellow also shares. The poem relates yellow to ones life, to connect all of of us through color!
