Alone in the World
Alone in the world
Forced to see things in a different light
God ALmighty i can't reach those different heights
The star light helps me see things in a sweet delight
Looking up at the night sky staring at a dull twilight
I stand my ground and put up a fight
While the world says thats not alright
Overcoming the challenges blocking me
from reaching wonderful goals ahead
I tread the city streets looking for guidance
Only to see not one helpful soul to be found
Through the darkness and bright days i have learned
I am alone in the world.

This poem is very relatable to me and I feel like to so many other tenagers around the world because we are all trying to find our voices. Where we wanna go later in life and find where we can make our marks. Sometimes that's hard to do alone. We all need a little push into the right direction in my personal opinion. I think one of the hardest parts of growing up is trying to start your life off on the right foot.
