Interstellar poem
When I glance into the night sky.
I imagine the whole universe.
Dotted with stars and swirling galaxies.
All fill up the vast darkness that surrounds the universe.
Stretching out like a rubber band, unknown if there is a boundary.
Nebulae's, are beautiful gas clouds.
They spread out like a wave onto the sand.
They are beautiful remains of the dead stars.
Hydrogen and helium make up the bright, gleaming stars.
That twinkle in the night sky.
They are like eyes in the dark stalking us.
But they can light up our way.
Moons circle the planets as they gradually dance
around the sun.
Just like electrons go around an atom.
They are each being swung around by a force that
attracts and repels them.
Galaxies are rotating discs
Just like a record player.
They rotate constantly until they await their fate
The black holes have such strong gravity.
Where nothing can flee from it.
Not even light itself.
They go somewhere that we may never know.
And will never come out.
Maybe to another dimension.
Wherever they go, they will remain, until the end of the universe.
