Being a kid

Bring joy to the kids
The yellow bars
Climbing up the slide
The nostalgia slaps me in the face
The shriek of laughter, a whistle blow
The fun games of tag
I miss being a kid
Now working a 9-5 to make the kids happy
Now seeing slides for 8 hours a day
Smelling rubber making rubber mulch
