A Covalent Bond
The connection between two atoms
Is one of those between the lion and his lioness
With their love creating a most wonderful creature
A baby, indulging the fact into our heads how strong their Herculean love is
Both, protecting their diamond made in their rough
Or
The connection between two atoms
Is one of those between the battle of divorced parents
Words like kryptonite, melting away their foundation of love
Knowing that they don’t mean it but too much has been said to look back
Both, losing their grip on their own little one’s love
This is exactly how it is with atoms when sharing an electron
Or
Here’s a slight example
Two people meet
They find interest in each other's hearts, creating a bond
More than a billion miles away, but still able to communicate
With their children in between them, they share custody over them
Now, the kids begin to circle each of their parents like the Infinite sign
Like lions preying on their target, circling from a distance, a far, far, far distance
So
They feel the attraction to their kill
But never really fulfill their need to attack it
With the conjoined custody of both parents
And their children in the center of them both
They create a new family name
Which is something new, different, ingenious
And could even be compared to a
Covalent Bond

I enjoy writing things about science and in this piece, I had tried to come up with metaphors that would make sense with atoms and covalent bonds.
