The Image of Love
“What is it like being in love with me?”
Weak to my knees when I see you
Nervous but excited every time I’m near you
Sad and punched in the gut when you leave
My spirits up again because of the beautiful lavender scent you left behind
Which always reminds me of you
Memories of sanguine paradise that we share
The sound of your loud but infectious laugh
Which always get me in a good mood
See being in love with you is happiness
Happiness that reaches the sky
No, happiness that reaches the vast area with stars and planets that we call space
Because our happiness is never-ending
That’s what it like being in love is with you
