despair is a plate
Despair is a plate, a broken plate
Its purpose now lost.
What once used to be a useful item
Now lays on the floor, shattered glass.
It thinks to itself -
Who would want this?
Why would you want something broken?
Things can be fixed, you know?
Can it even be fixed? Can I be fixed?
Despair is not a broken plate
That plate still wishes to be fixed, I still wish to be fixed.
