Painful Love
Love is full of pain.
You come around and I smile until I feel your touch
Your poison feels my veins, my stomach churns, and my heart bleeds.
The smell of hot sh*t fills my nose as you whisper your lies into my ear.
The way you follow my body with your fingers feels like the creepy
Touch of a demon with sharp nails.
And yet I stay, holding my breath waiting for things to go back to the way they were before.
But I think I’ve held it for too long because now I feel my lungs collapsing.
