The fruit mimicking the appearance of a pumpkin,
But small enough to fit into your hands.
Feeling like a turtle’s pore-like skin.
As you pull the fruit apart,
The juices flow through your hands,
Manners leaving your body;
As you lick the juices off your sticky hands,
Juicy candy-like liquids melting onto your tongue.
As the acidic smell rushes onto the air.
Overpowering your nostrils with the tangy scent.
