Conflict
the feeling of the bubbling has become a familiar one
the elevation of it is a comfort in some cynical way
the heat always remains in you
no matter the amount of coolness that comes and goes
confused by what brings the heat
everything causes the heat to come forward
the sensation of the heat huddling in your arms
there’s a pressure in them
a pressure like an animal stuck in a cage
it’s as if the pressure is stuck and trying to make its way out
there is no way out
not without causing conflict
conflict
is it really that bad if it’s something you thrive off of
conflict
something you’ve been raised around that it’s comforting and nostalgic
conflict
something that will always stay with you
it goes hand in hand with the heat
the two mixing together and opening their arms as if to say it’s okay you’re home now
it’s peculiar
how quickly you run to the two without a single thought to it
how quickly you embrace it is similar to a child embracing their mother
you’re blinded by the comfort and familiarity the heat and conflict always bring
the feeling of nostalgia is the first thing in your paracentral vision
they will always be home
they will always be welcomed
