Ode to Weather

The Sounds of nothingness
Fills the room
Then the sounds of millions of tears
Replace it
The warmth from my blanket
Makes me drowsy
My eyes fighting to stay open
Until I slowly fall asleep
Then screams of thunder
From lighting punching the ground
Makes me wide wake
My heart races to the finish line
Then boredom wins the race
Taking over my brain
It controls me to turn on the t.v
The t.v starts to speak
Minutes pass

The light in the room dies
Pitch black darkness
The t.v dies
Sounds of lions and wolves can only be heard
Only thing to do is wait
Minutes felt like hours
Then
Lights turn back on
Darkness dashes away
The t.v talks again
Sounds of rain disappears
A bright ray of light shines through the window
Staring at the clouds
They quickly move away
Revealing a majestic rainbow
