You broken boy, you fractured poet, ready to show god your undying devotion

You brawling old, you new naive, composing hidden secrets in poetry

You speak of which you do not know and this does anger me so

Unknown to you is the price you’ll pay when wisdom knocks dear youth

You wish for voice, you wish for love, all you pray to your god above

But when harsh cries have tainted the air, brutal love and savage fair

Your only prayer will be this, that can return to the ignorance you miss
